The Ayuda Foundation is a 501C3 non-profit based in Guam that is dedicated to helping Pacific islanders, especially our Micronesian region, in times of need. Ayuda was founded by Carlotta Leon Guerrero, a former senator and journalist, with Dr. Mike Cruz, of the Guam Medical Society, and Christine Nilsen, of Continental Micronesia, Inc.

Our mission is to deliver medical, human services and development assistance throughout the Pacific region.

What We Do

We are a humanitarian response organization to regional disasters and needs. Our three major programs:

Medical Missions: the movement of medical supplies and donations throughout the Pacific, especially Micronesia.

Island Girl Power: prevention and empowerment program aimed at Guam’s female youth to make healthy lifestyle choices by encouraging positive self esteem via mentors and role models, inspiring cultural and community pride, and improving our environmental future.

Prutehi i Tano yan i Tasi also known as www.GuamServiceLearning.com which serves as a service learning project directory for all high school students. We partnered with DOE to help students to find their projects, and make their hours!

Wings for Life: utilizes donated frequent flyer miles (United Airlines) for airfare of medically indigent patients

The needs of our pacific islanders are constantly changing and and we are dedicated to resolving as many issues as efficiently and proficiently as possible.
